On October 31st, the 2025 "Women and Space" International Event was successfully held in Hangzhou. Co-hosted by the Chinese Society of Astronautics, the Asia-Pacific Space Cooperation Organization (APSCO), and the Hangzhou Association for Science and Technology, the event focused on the theme of "Aerospace Women and the Digital-Intelligent Space Economy." More than 60 outstanding female representatives and experts in the aerospace field from China, France, Turkey, and other countries attended.
Feng Changgen, former Vice Chairman of the China Association for Science and Technology, Academician of the International Eurasian Academy of Sciences, and Chinese Director of the Zhejiang Paton Welding Technology Research Institute; Wang Yiran, Vice Chairman and Secretary-General of the Chinese Society of Astronautics; Jiang Hui, Secretary-General of the Asia-Pacific Space Cooperation Organization (APSCO); and Chen Yunwen, Member of the Party Leadership Group and Vice Chairman of the Hangzhou Association for Science and Technology, delivered speeches at the event. Ms. Xu Lu, Chairman of MeiHan Technology, was invited to attend.
Unveiling Ceremony of the "Paton-MeiHan Joint Laboratory"
During the keynote forum and technical exchange session of the 2025 "Women and Space" International Event, the venue witnessed an important highlight — the official launch of the unveiling ceremony of the "Paton-MeiHan Joint Laboratory."
Mr. Xu Liang, Vice President of the Zhejiang Paton Welding Technology Research Institute, and Ms. Xu Lu, Chairman of Shanghai MeiHan Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd., took the stage to jointly unveil the "Paton-MeiHan Joint Laboratory."
In the keynote report session, Tang Yuhua, Deputy Chief Engineer of the Chang'e-7 Mission at the Lunar Exploration and Space Engineering Center of the China National Space Administration (CNSA); Emine Dorukçök, Advisor to the Minister of Industry and Technology of Turkey; Olivia Schlauch, Project Manager and Legal Counsel of the Konrad Adenauer Foundation; Zhang Liyan, Vice President of Cangyu Space-Based (Beijing) Information and Communication Technology Co., Ltd.; and Li Qian, General Manager of Longxing (Hangzhou) Avionics Co., Ltd., delivered keynote speeches, sharing their insights and practices in aerospace technology, policies, business, and other fields.
In the roundtable forum, guests conducted in-depth discussions around the theme of "Women Empowering the New Ecosystem of the Digital-Intelligent Space Economy," exploring the unique value of women from the perspectives of technology, industry, investment, and other dimensions. Jiang Hui, Secretary-General of APSCO; Zhang Liyan, Vice President of Cangyu Space-Based; Chen Bindan, Chairman of Zhejiang Lizhi Agriculture Co., Ltd.; and Zhang Jie, Co-founder of Daily Interactive and Managing Director of Huadan Angel Investment, participated in the seminar.
During the event, participating experts visited the Zhejiang University Hangzhou International Science and Technology Innovation Center and the Hangzhou Smart Transportation Museum in person, experiencing the innovative achievements of the integration of aerospace and digital-intelligent technologies.
